Math Help to Save You From Burger Flipping for Life

Math is tough, right? I mean like, most people would rather tap dance in the middle of a bull fight than sit down and solve a polynomial equation or factor out a problem…or even just multiply anything over 12. But you need math to graduate high school and get to college and save yourself from burger flipping for life, so get on with it and get some math help. Clueless? A few suggestions, for starters:

Use your friends.

Remember that one time you helped your bff Joe study for a history final and then drove him to school the next day? Yeah, he kinda owes you. Call in your favors and trade math help for some other sort of help, like history…or something. Unless, of course, your idea of helping involves holding a book open while they do all the work.

Remember your family…?

If you have no minions with superior mathematical abilities, you might actually have to start talking to your family members again. Nothing says “I need help” like pulling your big brother aside and begging with your puppy dog eyes….except maybe “give me help or I’ll roundhouse kick you in the face.”

Find the math geeks

If your brother ends up just locking you in a closet, bust out and head straight to a place full of math geeks…like a math club, math team or the Massachusetts Institute of Technology! Just be friendly – if you’re mean to an MIT student they’ll charge you an arm and a leg for math help.

Worse comes to worst, you could always just head to Alleyoop and get free math help…but that would be too easy, wouldn’t it?
