What is a film director?
Lights, camera, action! Director James Cameron knows that line well after four years of filming Avatar and an awesome career in the movie biz. Directors work in all kinds of performance art, turning story scripts into successful movies, TV shows, radio programs and plays. Directors are basically in charge of the entire production – from auditioning actors and setting scenes to providing direction for the cast and crew. They also help with editing, visual effects and soundtracks.
