What is a chief executive?
Like being in charge? The chief executive oversees and directs entire companies. Even the governor of your state is a type of chief executive. Your parents’ tax money pays his salary while most chief executives earn their dollars by directing their companies toward success and profit. This is the highest level of management within a company.

How much education do you need?
Most chief executives require a master’s degree or Ph.D., M.D. or J.D. (law degree).

Time Mastery
CEOs have super busy schedules, packed with meetings, writing and research. They have to be able to manage their time and their team’s time.

Knowing how to gain the respect of peers and employees, and influence their decisions is a big part of a CEO’s success.
